For tomorrow day 27 in the #Yoga4Growth challenge hosted by @koyaWebb and I it’s Bhekasana (frog pose). This pose stretches the entire front of the body ankles thighs and groin abdomen and chest and throat and deep hip flexors (psoas). It also strengthens the back muscles and improves posture. This asana also relieves pain in the knee joints due to Rheumatism and gout. The pressure on the feet with the hands creates an arc and cures flat feet. Lie on your belly. Press your forearms against the floor and lift your head and upper torso. Bend your right knee and bring the heel toward the same-side buttock. Then supporting yourself on the left forearm reach back with your right hand and clasp the inside of your foot. As you slowly rotate your elbow toward the ceiling slide your fingers over the top of the foot and curl them over the toe tips if you can (I couldn’t it’s okay). The base of your palm should be pressing the top of the foot. if you’re comfortable here then stay here and hold for 30 seconds. If you want to give yourself a challenge repeat the same step with the other side and hold for 30 seconds. if you feel pain please come out of the pose and breath comfortably. Doing half frog (one side) is okay. If you’re comfortable and breathing then you’re in the pose. : @worldTravelingQ Sponsors: ToeSox @getlovedup Sunwarrior Liforme Yoga @doterra Alo Yoga by ladydork
